Job Title: Site Activator
Job Type: Flexible / Weekend availability required
Location: Padel Project UK - Darlington
Salary: £23-26k+ OTE (bonus structure and coaching commission available)

Job Summary:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Site Activator to oversee the daily operations of our padel tennis courts. Your role will include ensuring the courts are safe, equipment is in top condition, and most importantly, that our players have an exceptional experience. This role combines customer service, maintenance and administrative tasks, perfect for a self-starter who enjoys an active work environment and shares our vision of bringing padel to everyone, everywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication & Safety: Create a welcoming environment for players, assist clients on-site where needed, promote upcoming events, and manage WhatsApp communications for court availability, events, and more.

  • Court & Site Maintenance: Ensure courts are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Perform regular checks on nets, glass panels, and sand distribution. Keep the site free from obstructions and maintain seating areas, safety equipment, and access.

  • Stock & Equipment Management/Sales: Monitor and maintain rental rackets, conduct regular stock checks, ensure all equipment meets safety standards, coordinate any racket/ball sales .

  • Coach Coordination: Ensure coaching sessions are covered, and coordinate substitute coaches when needed. We use the Playtomic app for all bookings and class management. We would require you to be proficient in this application and PP UK would provide full training.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour with clients 

  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail

  • Ability to handle court/site maintenance tasks and ensure safety on-site

  • Previous facility management experience preferred but not required

  • Padel coaching qualification preferred but not required

  • Mandatory First Aid provision - training offered if not certified

Job Summary:

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic padel tennis coaches to join our growing community. As a coach, you can work flexibly and manage your sessions to suit you, whilst also playing a key role in creating a welcoming environment for players, and helping us in our mission to bring padel to everyone, everywhere!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication & Safety: Create a welcoming environment for players, manage and communicate your availability via WhatsApp communities and Playtomic App.

  • Playtomic Training: We use the Playtomic app for all bookings and class management. We would require all coaches to be proficient in this application to manage their bookings and cancellations. PPUK would provide full training. 

  • Court & Site Maintenance: Relay to the on-site manager anything you see which needs attention, including court obstruction, vandalism, and/or health and safety concerns or events.

Requirements:

  • Coaching Qualification Certificate

  • LTA Coach Code if registered with the LTA

  • LTA Coach Licence if registered with the LTA

  • Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance

  • DBS Disclosure (*For all coaches not able to provide DBS disclosure, on application, we will apply for DBS checks on their behalf via www.crbdirect.org.uk/. 50% of charges are payable by the coach.)

  • First Aid Certificate (PPUK can facilitate bookings of First Aid and Safeguarding courses. 100% of charges are payable by the coach.)

  • Safeguarding training (PPUK can facilitate bookings of First Aid and Safeguarding courses. 100% of charges are payable by the coach.)
